Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to provide NC programming support for plasma, wood routing, and CNC machining centers while aiding the Manufacturing Engineering group with tooling, equipment orders, and CI projects.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing with machining processes, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Emphasis on LEAN practices, 5S, and supporting new machine introductions is included.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating or programming CNC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with others.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide NC programming support for plasma, CNC wood router, and CNC machining center.
• Develop tooling and fixtures as part of Manufacturing Engineering projects.
• Research and order parts and materials for engineering projects.
• Support LEAN activities including 5S and Kaizen events.
• Assist with new machine introductions and capex project work.
