Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Focus
Minneapolis, MN | Full-Time | $80,000– $112,000| Day Shift
Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for CNC machining and a knack for solving complex challenges? If you're looking for a role where your ideas matter, your work makes a difference, and your team feels like family—this might be the perfect fit.
We're a collaborative, close-knit manufacturing team in Minneapolis, and we're looking to bring on a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing operation. You’ll be joining a talented Engineering group and reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your mission? Help us launch new products, implement cutting-edge processes, and keep our shop floor running efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Onboard new parts and machines: develop programs, tooling, and setup sheets
Support CAD/CAM structures and first-run production release jobs
Collaborate on fixture and work holding design
Drive continuous improvement—optimize tooling, setup sheets, file management, and more
Assist in selecting and implementing new CNC equipment
Create training programs to support machine implementation
Support existing production and troubleshoot as needed (Lathes, Swiss, Mills)
Partner with Quality on inspection methods, GD&T, and blueprint revisions
Contribute to preventive maintenance plans and ISO 9001 standards
What You Bring:
10+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming (Lathe, Mill, or Swiss)
Strong project management and team collaboration skills
Experience with CAD/CAM, GD&T, and tight-tolerance machining
A.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering is a plus—but not required if your experience speaks volumes
Background in process improvement, tooling, and technical troubleshooting
