Senior Metal Bellows in the United States is seeking skilled Production Machinists with CNC programming experience to support precision component manufacturing in a fast-paced setting. The role requires setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to meet engineering and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience in manufacturing.
• Experience programming CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, materials and tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens or similar controls preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Create and edit CNC programs using CAM software and machine controls.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or machine settings as needed.
• Optimize cycle times and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring product quality standards are met.
