Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for 2nd and 3rd shift in a contract manufacturing environment in Michigan. The role focuses on operating CNCs, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining organized documentation while coordinating material needs to meet production schedules.

The position requires at least two years in machining/CNC programming, strong problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in machining, methodizing, and/or CNC programming.
• Ability to make decisions based on data trends and intuition (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment using product data to produce die components in accordance with instructions.
• Interpret blueprints of products, dies, and checking fixtures to understand shape, mechanical structure, and tool and checking method operation.
• Document work in an organized fashion, with data and tool files stored in an organized directory tree per Plant Manager instructions.
• Request materials and resources with sufficient lead time to maintain the planned schedule.
• Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and drill presses, in a safe manner that minimizes material and time waste.
• Set up and safely operate CNC equipment, following a detailed instruction list for correct ATL offsets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
