Job summary

Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for 2nd or 3rd shift in Belmont, NC. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, with additional shift premiums of $2.00/hour (2nd shift) and $1.50/hour (3rd shift).

The role supports custom contract manufacturing, operating CNC equipment on die components, and reading blueprints. Expect weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as part of the hire package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in machining, methodizing, and/or CNC programming.
• Ability to make decisions based on data trends and intuition (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems.
• Good computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment using product data to produce die components in accordance with instructions.
• Interpret blueprints of products, dies, and checking fixtures to understand shape, mechanical structure, and tool and checking method operation.
• Document work in an organized fashion, with data and tool files stored in an organized directory tree per Plant Manager instructions.
• Request materials and resources with sufficient lead time to maintain the planned schedule.
• Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and drill presses, in a safe manner that minimizes material and time waste.
• Set up and safely operate CNC equipment, following a detailed instruction list for correct ATL offsets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
