Douglas Dynamics seeks a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating manual and CNC tooling to produce high-quality parts, with emphasis on setup, programming, and process control across milling and turning operations.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, maintain tooling and fixtures, and support production needs while staying compliant with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Technical school certification in Machining preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data retrieval.
• Ability to perform algebraic and trig calculations.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machine tools to process raw materials.
• Program, setup, and adjust CNC milling and turning machines.
• Maintain tooling and fixtures; follow maintenance schedule.
• Support production needs and ensure quality parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.
