Job summary

Staffmark is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Lead in Valdosta, GA to join a growing manufacturing team. This role combines hands-on machining, programming, and leadership to support daily machine shop operations.

You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, supervise a crew of 3–5 machinists, and drive quality and safety improvements. Haas automation experience is a plus; blueprints and specs must be read and applied.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Strong CNC programming experience.
• Experience with Haas automation preferred.
• Previous experience leading CNC machinists.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and support team productivity.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training or machining certification preferred.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour | First + Second Shift

This role combines hands-on CNC machining, programming, and team leadership while supporting daily machine shop operations. • Ability to work independently and support team productivity.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform hands-on machining tasks requiring attention to detail.
• Ability to wear required safety equipment, including steel-toe boots.
