• Read and interpret complex drawings and blueprints for machining operations.
• Program G-Code and develop CNC lathe/mill programs using MasterCam.
• Operate and set up most CNC and manual machines within the shop.
• Understand tooling concepts and select appropriate tooling for machining operations.
• Support scheduling of CNC machines and operator assignments when needed.
• Review and interpret internal reports including scheduling spreadsheets, backlog reports, and Guardian system data.
• Assist the Machine Shop Supervisor with special projects such as: 3PM crash protection software; Renishaw probing; New and trial tooling initiatives.
• Participate in safety and incident review meetings as required.
• Perform direct labor and other tasks as needed to support department operations.

Schedule: 3:00am Start | Significant Overtime Available - must be able to work 10-12 hour days, along with Saturdays

We are seeking a skilled Programmer/Lathe Operator to join our client's Machine Shop team on a direct-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, programming, problem-solving, and contributing to a high-performance manufacturing environment.
