Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Laser Operator in Tacoma, WA to support laser fabrication operations. You will create nest files for a Trumpf laser system, modify DXF files, and work closely with Laser and Press Brake teams to ensure parts are production-ready.

The ideal candidate has CNC programming experience in metal fabrication, Trumpf laser programming skills, and DXF editing expertise, with a background in architectural metals or precision fabrication.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience in metal fabrication.
• Strong Trumpf laser programming experience preferred.
• Experience with DXF editing and nesting software.
• Background in architectural metals or precision fabrication is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of fabrication workflow and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize laser nest programs for Trumpf equipment.
• Modify and update DXF files for fabrication readiness.
• Collaborate with Laser and Press Brake teams on production flow.
• Review drawings and flat patterns to improve cutting efficiency.
