Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, VT is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for day shift (5:30 AM–1:30 PM). The role focuses on planning, coding, and validating CNC programs across multiple equipment platforms, ensuring 100% quality and on-time delivery.

The position supports a safe, climate-controlled plant with strong safety and development opportunities. The candidate should bring 5+ years machining/programming experience, familiarity with CNC controls, and proficiency in CAM/CNC software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related machining and/or programming experience preferred.
• Certified CNC Machinist Apprentice preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machines.
• Solid understanding of machine controls as related to programming.
• Capable and comfortable with CAM/CNC programming software.

Responsibilities

• Verify manufacturing routings and communicate changes to Process Planning.
• Create machining programs for CNC equipment using CAD/CAM system and Husky customizations.
• Utilize basic CAD skills to create geometry as required for NC tool path creation.
• Communicate with engineering for any required model changes.
• Create complete documentation (setup and tool sheets) for all machining programs.
• Ensure all programs are problem free through verification/simulation software before release to the manufacturing floor.
• Use TeamCenter effectively to search, manage and control machining programs.
• Attend SQDC team meetings with focus on improving performance of self and team.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and work to overcome challenges through problem solving and creativity.
