Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a CNC Programmer to create and optimize CNC programs that support efficient manufacturing operations. You will work under the Production Supervisor and focus on continuous improvement while maintaining accurate program files and setup sheets.

The role requires reading fabrication drawings, basic CNC documentation, and strong problem-solving skills. A fast-paced environment and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and basic CNC documentation.
• Ability to learn new CAD/manufacturing software quickly.
• Capable of multitasking under deadlines and coordinating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain CNC programs using drawings, specifications, and CAD data.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs, tooling, and machine performance to support quality and efficiency.
• Assign production orders based on schedules, machine capacity, and workflow priorities.
• Monitor tooling inventory and maintain organized program files and setup sheets.
• Assist with machine setup, preventative maintenance, and process improvements on the shop floor.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures with reliable attendance.
