Job summary

Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented CAD/CNC professional to develop, prepare, and convert files for CNC cutting using AutoCAD, Fusion360, and V-Carve.

You will produce production-ready drawings for plywood, plastic, and foam and support upstream modeling with the BIM team. The ideal candidate reads blueprints, solves problems quickly, and collaborates across production, shop floor, and engineering to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC cutting files for plywood, plastic, foam using AutoCAD, Fusion360, and V-Carve.
• Program cutting tools and machining parameters for efficient CNC operations.
• Revise drawings to meet production requirements.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and file issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with CNC operators and other departments to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with the BIM team for modeling and drawing development.
• Create pour sheets and production documentation.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material needs.
• Order materials based on project needs.
• Support ERP data entry (Concrete Vision) and special projects.
