Job summary

Wells is seeking a detail-oriented CAD/CNC programmer to develop and prepare production-ready CNC files using AutoCAD, Fusion360, and V-Carve. You will translate complex designs into accurate toolpaths and collaborate with CNC operators and the BIM team to ensure alignment with production goals.

The role includes creating pour sheets, performing material takeoffs, and assisting with project logistics. A strong math background and blueprints interpretation are essential in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Fusion360.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Basic math skills and understanding of construction practices.
• Experience translating designs into production-ready CNC files.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD, Fusion360 and V-Carve to create CNC cutting files
• Program cutting tools and machining parameters for accuracy
• Revise drawings to match production requirements
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and file issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with CNC operators and other departments to prevent delays
• Support upstream modeling with BIM team collaboration
• Prepare production docs like pour sheets and tickets
• Calculate material quantities and order supplies as needed
• Assist with ERP data entry and special project duties
