Job summary
R & R Window Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Architectural Panel CNC Programmer to transform architectural drawings into CNC programs for custom panel systems.
You will collaborate with Project Managers, Detailers, Engineering, and Production to ensure accurate, efficient fabrication. The role demands CNC programming and AutoCAD drafting proficiency, strong visualization, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC programming and AutoCAD drafting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specs and fabrication details.
- Strong math, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specs.
- Review panel layouts, fabrication details, and project requirements.
- Create material takeoffs and fabrication information for panels.
- Develop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Generate and optimize CNC programs for panel fabrication equipment.
- Maintain production cut lists and fabrication reports.
- Coordinate with PMs and production throughout fabrication.
- Provide technical shop support during fabrication and assembly.
- Troubleshoot programming, fabrication and production issues.
- Maintain accurate fabrication records and project documentation.
- Support quality control to meet specs and fabrication requirements.
