Job summary

MRO Built is expanding its engineering and CNC programming capabilities to support growing demand in custom architectural millwork, commercial interiors, and specialty manufacturing. The CNC Programming Engineer will work with HOMAG routers, Router-CIM, WoodWOP, and Cut Rite to improve machining quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3–10 years CNC programming experience in architectural millwork and/or casework.
  • Familiarity with HOMAG CENTATEQ / DRILLTEQ.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of millwork fabrication methods, materials, and machining.

Responsibilities

  • Program HOMAG CNC routers (CENTATEQ) and drilling equipment using Router‑CIM, WoodWOP, and Cut Rite
  • Convert engineering drawings and models into efficient CNC programs
  • Optimize nesting and material usage for maximum yield
  • Develop and maintain tooling libraries and machining standards
  • Support operators with setup, troubleshooting, and first‑article verification
  • Reduce machining errors and improve cycle times through program refinement
  • Collaborate with engineering on new product development and ECO changes
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Role Description

We are expanding our engineering and CNC programming capabilities to support growing demand in custom architectural millwork, commercial interiors, and specialty manufacturing.

Our CNC Programming Engineer ideally has experience with HOMAG routers, Router‑CIM, WoodWOP, and architectural millwork. This role is ideal for a mid‑level or senior CNC programmer who enjoys improving machining quality, solving production challenges, and collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities
  • Program HOMAG CNC routers (CENTATEQ) and drilling equipment using Router‑CIM, WoodWOP, and Cut Rite
  • Convert engineering drawings and models into efficient CNC programs
