Jobot in East Syracuse, NY is seeking a CNC Programmer to join a precision machining team focused on aerospace components. You will develop and optimize CNC programs for complex parts using Mastercam on Mazak equipment, with multi-axis capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 1–2 years in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• Strong CNC programming and CAD/CAM skills; Mastercam preferred.
• Experience with Mazak CNC equipment preferred.
• GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement knowledge.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.
• Aerospace manufacturing and job shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CNC programs for basic through complex part geometries.
• Use CAD/CAM software to develop machining processes that meet customer drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues alongside production personnel.
• Optimize programs, tooling, and machining processes to improve part quality and efficiency.
• Apply GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement practices to support accurate production.
• Participate in production planning and manufacturing process development.
• Support design for manufacturability discussions and other customer design activities as needed.
