Job summary

Haygor Instrument & Company is seeking a CNC Programmer in Houston, TX to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for lathes and multi-axis mills using Mastercam and SolidCAM. The role supports production, automation, and continuous improvement while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The candidate should have an Associate degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of CNC programming experience, proficient in G-code, reading drawings, and toolpath verification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; 3+ years CNC programming experience preferred.
• Experience with Mastercam and SolidCAM required.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs for lathes, 3-axis mills, and 5-axis mills.
• Create programs for new products and production changes.
• Verify toolpaths using simulation software.
• Optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling to improve productivity and cost.
• Support setup, prove-out, and troubleshooting during implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
