Job summary

Air-Lake Machine & Manufacturing in Lakeville, MN, is seeking a CNC programmer who can handle one-off repairs, complex builds, and close-tolerance work. You will program, set up, and run Haas machines, collaborating with a tight-knit team in a food- and family-friendly shop atmosphere.

We use GibbsCAM and CloudNC to streamline programming, with a goal of continuous improvement and efficiency. A strong problem-solver who can operate on the shop floor as needed will thrive here.

Qualifications

• CNC programming experience, preferably GibbsCAM or comparable CAM software.
• Strong CNC programming and machining experience with mills and/or lathes, and ability to setup and run.
• Experience with Haas controls preferred.
• Solid understanding of tooling, workholding, feeds/speeds, and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines and develop machining programs based on drawings and GD&T.
• Set up and run machines on the shop floor when needed.
• Collaborate with the shop manager and machinists to select tooling and determine strategies.
• Follow established programming standards and contribute ideas to improve processes.
