Job summary

MC Molds Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Programmer for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift to develop and optimize milling programs for mold components. You will download CAM data, program with WorkNC, Surfcam and Powermill, and generate setup sheets with cycle estimates.

The role requires 2+ years of CAM-based CNC programming, reading blueprints, GD&T knowledge, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Teamwork across departments is essential for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2+ years of CNC programming using CAM software.
Ability to program 3- and 5-axis milling centers.
Read and interpret blueprints.
GD&T fundamentals understood.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of fixture and jig practices.
Able to work overtime including weekends.
Experience with feature recognition software is a plus.
Experience with post processing and editing posts.

Responsibilities

Download required data into CAM software.
Create CNC milling programs for molding components using WorkNC, Surfcam and Powermill.
Create machining programs with correct tooling, speeds and feeds.
Produce setup sheets with estimated cycle times for CNC machinists.
Collaborate with CNC machining department to optimize processes.
Support continuous improvement projects in machining operations.
Use Vericut to detect errors or inefficiencies before release.
