Position: CNC Programmer - 1st shift

Starting pay: $36/hr

Location: Lakewood, OH

What You’ll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment and machining centers to fabricate raw materials into finished parts, maintaining high quality and standards.
  • Read and interpret sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances, and sequence of operations.
  • Set up and operate manual machines such as lathe or mill when required.
  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
  • Adjust machine controls as needed, document changes per company procedures.
  • Make offset adjustments and perform maintenance to maintain dimensional integrity.
  • Complete setup documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Review blueprint travelers for accuracy.
Who You Are
  • Technical Certification, Degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of machining experience in manufacturing; manual mill/lathe setup and operation preferred.
  • G&M code experience required; conversational programming knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to read drawings and sketches.
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC machines following procedures.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
