Job summary

A manufacturing company in New Jersey is seeking a CNC Programmer to collaborate with teams to produce programming and maintain production needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive machining and programming experience, particularly in Mastercam, and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Job description

CNC Programmer

• Work with Manufacturing Manager, Machine Operators, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, and Production Control to produce good programs, keep machines running, and meet production needs.
• Programming in Mastercam.
• Processes and controls include 2-3 axis mill/turning, Okuma/Hass/Mazak/FANUC.
• CAD (Solidworks).
• Read, analyze, and interpret blueprint drawings/specifications.
• Tool and fixture selection, e.g., end mills, drills, inserts, custom fixtures.
• Organize and maintain programs, setup sheets, and revisions.
• Conduct first run prove outs with machine operators or independently.
• Revise programs to correct errors or improve performance.

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical school or college education is a plus.
• Ideally 8 years of machining experience with at least 4 years of programming experience.
• Ability to work closely with Manufacturing Manager to maintain shop schedules and meet production goals.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary Range: $85-$120K/yr.

Please note: The salary is based on market pay structure. Salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
