Job summary

EPIC Piping seeks a dedicated CNC Programmer to become a key member of our Pipe Support team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and develop skills in CNC programming and machining. An ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Engineering and be eager to grow in a supportive environment with industry leaders.

  • Experience: Related experience or training required.
  • Skills: Must have communication skills and metalworking knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • Have comprehensive knowledge of equipment, metal cutting and finishing, and characteristics of metal
  • Work effectively with all personnel and have excellent communication skills
  • Read and write CNC programs on multiple controls
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of the Manufacturing Organization
  • Read and understand work orders, blueprints, manuals, memos, CNC programs and processes
  • Use developed math, reading, and writing skills within the scope of the job responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as required

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Associate Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; preferred.
  • Experience: Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and CAM (AutoCad, Solid Works, Virtual Gibbs programming software)
  • Certification/Licenses: None specifically required.
