Job summary

Salem Metal, Inc. in Middleton, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to convert customer CAD files into precision parts using Amada, Mitsubishi, and other equipment.

You will create machine programs, interface with our support and manufacturing teams, and help drive efficiency in design-to-part workflows. Join a family-run ISO 9001 job shop with a strong benefits package and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have blueprints reading and CNC programming experience.
• Ability to translate CAD designs into machine programs for metal fabrication equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems and CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer CAD files into machine programs for precision sheet metal parts.
• Create programs for Amada, Mitsubishi Punch/Lasers, and forming equipment.
• Collaborate with customer support, production control and manufacturing teams on workflow.

Salem Metal, a regional leader in metal fabrication, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in Middleton, MA. This individual could work on site, hybrid, or remote.

If you have at least 2 years of CNC programming experience, ability to read and interpret blueprints and translate them to machine programs for Amada and Mitsubishi Punch, Laser, and Forming equipment, experience with ERP systems, experience with FabriWIN, AP100US, 4i Bend, 4i Punch, and MC DiamondSoft or related software, and experience with CAD based programs such as FluidCAD and SOLIDWORKS, Salem Metal wants to hear from you!

Your role will be to convert customer CAD files and designs to precision parts by creating machine-based programs for manufacturing equipment and automation. You will interface daily with our customer-support team, production control, and manufacturing teams in the design to part workflow for precision sheet metal products, secondary machining processes, and value-added assembly.
