Job summary

Acara Solutions, on behalf of a premier aerospace manufacturing team, seeks a CNC Programmer in Merritt Island, FL to develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining. You will work with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to improve cycle times, accuracy, and production efficiency.

You should have 7+ years in CNC programming, strong G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM skills (Mastercam, CAMWorks, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of CNC programming experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, CAMWorks, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration with machinists, engineers, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Interpret engineering drawings to determine tooling, fixturing, and process plans.
• Develop fixturing and support setup and production activities.
• Optimize processes to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and maintain setup sheets and documentation.

• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues, inspect finished parts, and maintain accurate setup sheets, tool libraries, programs, and process documentation.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED


• 7+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.


• 7+ years of experience in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code), CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, CAMWorks, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)


• 7+ years of experience with various CNC machines.
