Job summary

Insource Design & Manufacturing TEC in Manchester, NH is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing team. You will develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software, set up mills and lathes, and interpret engineering drawings to ensure tight tolerances.

You will collaborate with engineering and production to optimize processes, perform first-article inspections, and maintain thorough documentation of programs and tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Programmer in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Experience with multi-axis milling and/or turning operations.
• Proficient in CAM software for programming and optimization.
• Design experience is required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations using CAM software
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming, tooling, and machining issues
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and setups

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam2027, SolidWorks 2026)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Experience with multi-axis CNC milling and/or turning operations
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and machining best practices
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Be able to program 3,4 and 5axis is a must
• Design experience is a must
