Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a CNC Programmer to write new CNC programs, improve existing programs, and support machining operations throughout the facility. The role involves collaborating with management and engineering to ensure feasible manufacturing plans.

Responsibilities

  • Write new CNC programs and improve existing ones.

  • Maintain clean and orderly equipment and shop.
  • Demonstrate accurate typing and computer skills; stay on task.
  • Be punctual, dependable, and on time.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must be knowledgeable in the requirements of the various regulatory agencies with respect to repair and overhaul.
  • Aids in evaluating and improving manufacturing methods as required.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Performs janitorial and cleaning duties to maintain clean and orderly equipment and shop.
  • Have excellent typing and computer skills. Ability to stay on task.
  • Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Two year degree in related field or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

In order to be in compliance with FAA guidelines, employee must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
