Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a CNC Programmer to write new CNC programs, improve existing programs, and support CNC machining operations across the facility.

The ideal candidate has a two-year degree or equivalent experience and strong English language skills. You will collaborate with management and engineering to optimize processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Two year degree in related field or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In order to be in compliance with FAA guidelines, employee must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be knowledgeable in the requirements of the various regulatory agencies with respect to repair and overhaul.
• Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Responsibilities

• Write new CNC programs, improve existing programs, and support CNC machining operations.
• Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
• Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Performs janitorial and cleaning duties to maintain clean and orderly equipment and shop.
• Have excellent typing and computer skills. Ability to stay on task.
• Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
