Job summary

System One is hiring a CNC Programmer to develop and optimize programs for milling and turning operations in an onsite Irwin, PA setting. You will create Mastercam-based programs, interpret complex drawings, and troubleshoot CNC systems to maintain high-quality production.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, experience with Mastercam, and clear communication within a collaborative team environment. Onsite work with a standard 40-hour week is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC programming for milling and turning operations.
• Experience using Mastercam software to create and optimize programs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for CNC machines and programs.
• Good communication and teamwork to support shop operations.

Responsibilities:

• Create programs using Mastercam Software for CNC machining operations such as milling, turning on multi-axis mills and lathes
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and designs to develop accurate CNC programs
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and machines to resolve issues efficiently
• Keep detailed records of CNC programs and machining operations
• Continuously enhance CNC programming techniques to improve productivity
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and background in CNC programming
• Experience with Mastercam Software
• Ability to interpret technical blueprints and drawings
• Proven troubleshooting skills for CNC machines and programs
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
