Job summary

Viking Cue Manufacturing LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our Middleton, WI team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment, developing and optimizing CAM programs while interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

You will select tooling and cutting parameters, perform first-article inspections, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering to enhance manufacturability and efficiency on prototype and production runs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a prototyping, job shop, or production environment.
• CNC programming using CAM software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work on-site in Middleton, WI.
• Experience with HAAS or similar CNC controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented problem solvers who take pride in producing high-quality work and want to continue developing their CNC programming skills.

Experience with the following is helpful:

• CNC machining and machine setup
• CAM programming, including Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar software
• Reading engineering drawings and blueprints
• Editing or troubleshooting CNC programs and G-code
• Tooling, workholding, and machining strategies
• HAAS CNC machines
• Miltronics or Centroid controls
• 4-axis or 5-axis machining

We’re also looking for someone who:

• Can work independently while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing
• Is adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities when needed
• Has strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Works efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Is interested in learning, cross-training, and expanding their skill set

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a prototype, job shop, or production environment
• CNC programming experience using CAM software
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, setup, tooling, workholding, and machine operation
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Ability to work on-site in Middleton, WI
