Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking CNC Programmers for our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. You will interface with design engineering to coordinate new product releases, perform manufacturability reviews, and develop machining processes.

The role includes managing NC programs, mentoring operators, and collaborating across engineering and production teams. Qualified candidates have a BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and experience with CAM (Mastercam) and NX CAD

Qualifications

  • US citizen per DoD requirements
  • BS in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment with machining, welding/fabrication, assembly, electrical or plastics
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using CAM (Mastercam) for NC program generation
  • Siemens NX CAD for NC programming a plus
  • GD&T per ASME Y14.5M
  • Experience with nuclear and/or military quality systems
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • 3D solid modeling knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interface with design engineering to coordinate new product releases
  • Conduct reducibility review of engineering drawings prior to release
  • Analyze labor standards and review data for manufacturing operations
  • Evaluate engineering changes and specifications
  • Serve as technical liaison with program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production
  • Develop machining processes and tool selection for components and sub-assemblies
  • Manage NC program files for revision control and security per EMD procedures
  • Mentor Operator Programmers (qualified hourly machinists)
  • Collaborate with equipment acquisition during NC machine/tool purchases
  • Assist in production flow data analysis to increase productivity and reduce costs

We are looking for **CNC Programmers **to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.Your Responsibilities:Interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct reducibility review of engineering drawings prior to release. Perform various operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity and reducing production unit cost and assists in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements.
