Job summary

Shively Diversified Management Services is seeking a dependable Production / Utility Technician to support our machining and production operations. This hands-on role combines CNC machine operation with utility responsibilities to keep production running efficiently.

You will operate CNC lathes and machining centers, read blueprints, perform quality inspections, and assist with shipping, receiving, and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC setup and operation.
• Knowledge of manual machining (Bridgeport mills or manual lathes) is a plus.
• Experience with Okuma controls is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and operate CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality and efficiency.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts with precision tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Complete production logs and quality documentation accurately.
• Operate Hem Saw, forklift, drill and tap machines, and assist with shipping and receiving.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
