Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a GT Process Operator for a Fri-Sun shift in Charlotte, NC. The role involves setting up and operating CNC-driven processes including machining, bonding, and welding, with manual tooling support as needed.

You will read blueprints, perform metrology, and work in a fast-paced environment. 3 years CNC experience is required; you must obtain forklift/crane licensing and pass a competency test.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC experience (ability to read and understand program) in machining, welding, laser or other applications.
• Must be able to read complex drawings and perform metrology.
• Must pass a Process Operator Competency Test and wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations on transitions (machining, bonding, welding).
• Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints and manufacturer specifications; select proper tools.
• Load/unload parts with cranes and forklifts; follow safety and quality procedures.
