Job summary

Arcosa Meyer Utility Structures in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Control Process Operator to set up and run CNC machinery, adjust feeds, and verify dimension tolerance using blueprints. You will handle materials and coordinate transfers to storage as part of ongoing manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, can read blueprints, and operate CNC/PLC equipment safely. You will troubleshoot equipment, follow quality guidelines, and adhere to all safety rules

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements.
• Ability to operate CNC/PLC equipment (Whitney-plasma/punch; Kinetic; Oxy-fuel cutting; Plasma cutting; CNC machining center/drills, presses, mills)
• Ability to maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically heats, mills, cuts, forms, drills, broaches, or reams metal, plastic, or processed material parts
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
• Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
• Follow all safety rules and practices
