IronLeaf Designs is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to set up and run industrial CNC press brake machines for bending and forming sheet metal parts. The role requires interpreting drawings, selecting tooling, and programming adjustments to maintain part quality.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative shop environment in a growing metal fabrication company.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial press brake operating experience in metal fabrication.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery for sheet metal forming.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal bending, tooling, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Ability to accurately use common measuring and inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple production priorities.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate industrial CNC press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and production documentation.
• Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
• Determine proper bend sequences, select tooling, and enter or adjust CNC machine settings and programs as needed.
• Measure and inspect completed parts to verify dimensions, angles, tolerances, and overall quality.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, squares, and tape measures accurately.
• Make machine and tooling adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and consistency.
• Identify and troubleshoot forming, tooling, and dimensional issues.
• Handle materials and finished components safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with your Manager and other members of the production team.
• Assist with other fabrication and shop responsibilities as production needs require.
