Globe Tech in Plymouth, MI seeks an afternoon-shift CNC Press Brake Operator. You will read blueprints, set up and run brake presses, measure and align parts, and perform quality inspections while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include selecting CNC programs, loading materials per blueprints, and documenting production. Strong reading comprehension and ERP experience are preferred for timely, accurate work.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of hands-on CNC Press Brake experience preferred.
• Experience with basic computer / ERP systems.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsabilidades

CNC PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Position: CNCPress Brake Operator - afternoon shift hours

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• Operates press brake to manufacture tools, parts, equipment, and other components


• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts brake press as required by product plans and schedules


• Measures and aligns materials to be used


• Identify and select correct program on CNC Brake software


• Load material according to part blueprint


• Document production as required


• Understanding of how to use and read measurement tools


• Read blueprints and utilize knowledge of basic GD&T


• Perform necessary quality inspections

Employees may be subject to certain manufacturing environments such as working near loud, moving mechanical parts. The noise level will be moderate with slight traffic and the sound of presses and machinery. Ear protection may be required.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• One or more years of hands-on CNC Press Brake experience


• Experience with basic computer / ERP systems.


• Speak effectively with fellow employees or customers.


• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.


• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical skills:

• Apply mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as basic algebra.

Other Skills:

• Detail oriented.


• Organized and able to meet deadlines while performing multiple duties.


• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
