Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Euclid, Ohio is seeking a Pre-Production Machinist to follow engineering prints and routing sheets to manufacture and repair components.

The role requires set-up and operation of CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment, with a focus on precision and quality. You will work on a range of tools and fixtures, develop new methods, and ensure adherence to engineering specifications while maintaining documentation and supporting team objectives in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret complex blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience with measuring instruments and documentation.
• Ability to perform trigonometry as part of manufacturing and inspection.
• Proficiency with Fanuc and conversational programming is required.
• Ability to work a 3:00pm-11:00pm or 11:00pm-7:00am shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and manufacture equipment such as tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, gages and inspection equipment.
• Set up and operate machining and grinding equipment; perform layout, fitting, assembly and manufacture operations.
• Develop methods and equipment to plan and execute manufacturing and repair operations.
• Inspect all work using measurement instruments; follow engineering prints and specs.
