AS A 3rd Shift PRODUCTION ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled production engineer to join our climate technologies team in a 3rd shift capacity. The candidate will own metal cutting CNC equipment operations, support plant processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process ownership of metal cutting CNC equipment, work holding, tooling and programming
• Create and maintain scroll machining process documentation
• Provide front‑line technical support for multiple plant processes
• Develop and implement process improvements and cost reductions
• Comprehend and modify CNC, PLC and robotic programs
• Lead and participate in cost reduction teams and capital planning
• Focus on safety, quality, downtime, manning and throughput

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Four‑year technical degree plus one year experience (co‑op/intern experience may be considered) or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Associate’s degree plus equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing role)
• Strong technical background with experience in Allen Bradley software, Fanuc robotics, CNC machining equipment and advanced troubleshooting methods
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills demonstrating initiative to exceed expectations
• Good organizational, presentation and project management skills to interact with all levels of the company
• Previous experience with CNC machining methods, controls and processes
• Practical computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

• Technical support experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
• Advanced CNC/PLC programming experience
• Experience with Lean Principles and 5S+1
