Job summary

Superior Ind is seeking a hands-on CNC Plasma Operator in Minnesota. You will set up, program, and operate a plasma cutting table and plate roll, interpreting blueprints and CAD files to produce precise parts. Responsibilities include material handling, slag/burr removal, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and willingness to learn, with duties expanding to support the production team and ongoing training within a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC plasma cutting table: set up, program, and manage to cut materials accurately, interpreting blueprints and CAD files.
• Handle and operate plate roll to bend and shape metal plates, ensuring precision and quality in the final product.
• Material handling and clean-up: load/unload materials, transport within workspace, remove slag and burrs from plasma cut materials.
• Maintain safety and detail orientation: follow safety protocols, perform equipment maintenance, keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform additional assigned duties: support production team, participate in training, contribute to workflow efficiency.
