Job summary

Our client is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and set up CNC milling and lathe machines, producing components for high-precision applications. The role emphasizes quality and precision, working in controlled environments with ITAR/EAR compliance.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, maintain documentation, and assist in first-run setup, tool selection, and routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling or CNC lathe machines.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection and precision measuring instruments.
• HS diploma or GED; ITAR/EAR compliance experience preferred.

This long-term role offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art CNC milling and lathe machines that produce critical components for space and military applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Performing quality inspections and supporting the creation of complex parts.
• Performing quality work checks to ensure the accuracy of the machine's output.
• Conducting routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintaining production and quality documentation.
• Verifying dimensions of finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Assisting in inspecting finished parts.
• Setting up machines for the first run.
• Selecting appropriate tools and fixtures for CNC programs.

Work Schedule

Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm

Required Skills, Education and Experience
