Job summary

Prince Industries is seeking CNC Operators for Turning/Swiss Department with openings on first and second shifts. First Shift: 5:45am - 2:15pm, Mon-Fri. Responsibilities include operating machines, inspecting parts, reading blueprints, and performing tooling changes to maintain tolerances.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years machining experience, and familiarity with GD&T and metrology. Benefits include comprehensive health plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
• Comprehend and follow simple oral or written instructions.
• Perform intermediate shop math: fractions, conversions, percentages.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to print specifications.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect parts for defects and report to supervisor.
• Measure conformance using micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges.
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T for dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow ISO/QS certifications relevant to the position.
• Perform machine start-up, tooling adjustments, and tool replacements as needed.
• Maintain daily preventive maintenance checks and ensure proper coolant levels and cleanliness.
• Complete inspection documents and production logs.
