Job summary

SmartLam North America is seeking a CNC Operator in Dothan, Alabama to fabricate CLT panels and related components safely and efficiently. You will ensure compliance with design and shop drawings, while meeting production targets and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years CNC experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to work on-site during 6am-5pm or 2pm-10:30pm shifts with occasional Saturdays and a $1/hr differential. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with CNC operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and precision measurement.
• Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and precision tooling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production flow and meet schedules.
• Follow CNC SOPs and calibrate tools as needed.
• Review toolpaths and run simulations prior to cutting.
• Identify defects and ensure finished panels meet specs.
