Job summary

Biomerics NLE LLC is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run Swiss Screw machines, read blueprints, and ensure products meet exact specifications. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and prior manufacturing experience.

You will drill, grind, mill, and inspect parts, maintaining strict quality and safety standards on the production floor. Ideal candidates will understand technical drawings and translate instructions into precise machine operations.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Manufacturing background preferred, with ability to interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate Swiss Screw machines including drilling, grinding and milling tasks.
• Read blueprints/drawings to meet specs and translate instructions into machine commands.
• Load and feed raw materials, run first-piece verification, and adjust for accuracy.
• Supervise machine operations and optimize processes for quality output.
• Inspect finished products and compare against requirements to ensure compliance.
• Maintain production records and report deviations or issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to safety standards.

Job Summary

The CNC operator is responsible for setting up and operating Swiss Screw machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications, monitoring production, and performing quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards. Requires manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling, etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines.
• Set up and run first pieces to verify that the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
• Open to learning as well as teaching with a positive work ethic.
