This position is a hybrid Operator/Programmer role with primary responsibility for machining operations, while also supporting programming activities on the shop floor. The role requires balancing hands‑on production work with programming responsibilities driven by business needs.
Key specific responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving production program issues, developing offline CNC programs for critical paths or bottlenecks based on shop floor priorities, and supporting new product introductions and project‑related programming activities. The position also focuses on improving programming efficiency to optimize cycle times, increase throughput, and maximize machine utilization.
As a standard requirement, the employee is expected to perform and accurately document manufacturing activities in alignment with company objectives and quality standards. The role demands the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks while adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities also include setting up and operating lathes, mills, and CNC machines in a safe and efficient manner.
Shift: Monday - Thursday: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
