Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Hartland, WI, seeks a CNC Operator to produce premium carbide cutting tools. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines, inspect tools for surface flaws, and correct quality issues to ensure a consistent product.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years CNC experience, and basic math skills. Familiarity with blueprints and measurement tools is beneficial; programming experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CNC Operator experience preferred.
• Math skills including metric to inch and decimal to fraction.
• Programming experience is optional.

Responsibilities

• Setup and offsets as required.
• Read blueprints accurately.
• Inspect tools for defects using QC tools.
• Program and operate CNC machines.
• Evaluate finished product quality with measurement tools.
• Communicate quality issues to programmers/GM.
• Check machinery daily for functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
