Job summary

Air Industries Group is seeking a CNC Operator in New York for precise machining tasks. You will operate a machine center within very tight tolerances, load tools, replace inserts as needed, and adjust offsets. Reading part drawings and inspecting parts to drawing standards are essential.

Candidates should have 2+ years CNC operating experience, familiarity with Mazak/Mazak-like equipment is a plus, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive hourly rate plus overtime is offered.

• 2+ years of CNC operating experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience with precise tolerances and offset adjustments.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine center within +/- .0005 tolerances and adjust machines accordingly.
• Load tool or replace broken insert and adjust offsets accordingly.
• Use standard measuring tools including micrometer and height gauge.
• Inspect parts to drawings and verify conformance.
