Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator I to support basic CNC operations, inspection of machined parts, and routine maintenance on CNC lathes and mills. You will read blueprints, measure parts with precision tools, and work to meet production goals with safety as a priority.

The role provides hands-on experience across CNC machinery, inspection techniques, and ERP workflows in a manufacturing environment. 18+ and legally eligible to work in the US are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Basic understanding of CNC G-codes and M-codes.
• Ability to operate CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.
• Haas Controller Experience preferred
• Quality assurance experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to meet production goals.
• Prepare and load raw materials onto CNC machines.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Perform in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Perform daily maintenance on CNC machinery and replace worn tooling.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and 6S practices.
• Record transactions in ERP to maintain inventory.
• Additional duties as assigned.
