Position Title: CNC Operator - Plastics



Wage: $18.04/Hour



Shifts: 1st Shift



Hours: 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Thursday

CNC Operator - Plastics Responsibilities:

- Set up CNC machines and modify program offsets, tool offsets, and subroutine statements to address dimensional discrepancies between trimmed parts and specifications

- Inspect and adjust parts, submitting them to the supervisor for first piece approval

- Operate multi-axis CNC equipment to complete assigned job tasks

- Maintain accurate records of all CNC operations related to production, quality, and maintenance

- Conduct quality checks on processed parts using precision measuring instruments, remaining vigilant about potential issues such as alignments, fits, cut quality, and print flaws

- Ensure all equipment and fixtures are in good working condition, performing minor repairs and lubrication as needed

- Report any major repair needs to management

- Uphold a clean and safe working environment for all team members

- Perform additional duties as required or assigned



Requirements For CNC Operator - Plastics:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints

- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

- Solid understanding of formatting and editing CNC programs

- Experience using various types of inspection gauges

- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing and machine operating experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
