Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Erie, PA is seeking a CNC Operator / Multi Operator to setup and operate CNC 3-Axis vertical mills and engine lathes to tight tolerances, ensuring dimensional accuracy, concentricity, and proper surface finishes.

You will work from drawings and route sheets, select tools and fixtures, perform inspections, adjust programs and settings for quality and safety, and maintain clean, organized work areas while following 5S and daily management practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and reading engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 3-Axis vertical mills and lathes to required tolerances.
• Read drawings, layouts, route sheets, and instructions to determine machining steps.
• Select proper tools, fixtures, and attachments to ensure correct setups.
• Inspect parts using measuring instruments to verify conformance to drawings.
• Make adjustments to equipment, programs, and tooling to maintain quality.
• Vary speeds and feeds as needed to suit metals being machined.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Complete 5S and daily management documentation.
