CNC Operator – Mills & Lathes

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join a precision machine shop team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes for short and long-run production
  • Load and verify programs, adjust offsets, and maintain tight tolerances
  • Select, preset, and change tooling as required for production jobs
  • Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety/quality standards
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience (multi-axis a plus)
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Skilled in basic program editing and tool offset adjustments
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
