Job Description

ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, seeks a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision components critical to space exploration.

Essential Functions

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality aerospace components.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and machine setup.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum.
• Knowledge of precision machining techniques.
• Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, gauges, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range in New Jersey: $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr. Final offer may vary based on experience and location.
